Mom's Garden, Luncheon, Ripe Berries and Lady D Update

My mom had me over for a fabulous lunch the other day! It was out of this world yummy! She made HOME MADE cream of mushroom soup and it was a-maz-ing! I will never go back to canned. She had buns, a delish salad mix, pears, and a selection of cheeses; bri, cheddar and provolone. This was my "final supper" before my detox! Oh soooo good~!

The Mulberries are also ripe! Along with the raspberries! Yum!

And here's a crumby, but current, picture of Lady Dandelion the chicken. Still very small but doing A-Ok.

I'll sign off with a bunch of lovely pictures of my mom's flower garden. Her beautiful Lillys. :)

yay! lady d is looking good! ::does a little happy dance:: i've seriously never been so excited about the welfare of a chicken before. but somehow i just know she's a good girl.

how's day number two going? you sound good (based on the last two posts). ha, ha! i just made myself laugh. you had cake today, and it wasn't even cheating! she (cake) decided to come over and snoop. she's also from canadia.

p.s. i have an awesome cream of mushroom and hazelnut soup recipe if you would like it. (but not until your detox is over of course.)

My choice of this blogger handle often has me saying things like, "So, I was trying to decide which cake (the pastry, not the blogger) to get and..." Very silly.

And, yup, another Canadia type here! From Ottawa but don't hate me for it. Hee!

Beautiful flowers...I have tiger lilies on my porch but one day I'd love a house so I could have a proper garden. I have flower envy!
