My Day Off.
Things started off rocky today while trying to get errands run and work done but the day ended well. I made fiddleheads and brown rice for my supper and then finally around 7 the sun peeked out. Hip and I went outside and picked some rhubarb, collected the eggs, and did some exploring. He's so much fun to be with. I explain lots of things to him and I feel like I am really instilling something new in him - a love for nature. Today I told him names of flowers, showed him where fiddleheads come from, and he helped me plant a row of peas. He has such an energy and a genuine interest in the world around him. He just so happy about everything! Knawing on a piece of rhubarb, visiting the chickens or jumping off a big rock. He's happy for the attention and company I think. He doesn't get enough of that.. I'm glad to be the one to give him that every now and again.
Here are some pictures of our travels. He's so easy to photograph, and so willing unlike most people :). Makes for great captures!
